Got Questions? We’ve Got the Answers.

From booking to bike builds, here’s everything you need to know about Crafted Cycles.

How do I buy a bike from Crafted Cycles?

We do things differently, for good reason…
At Crafted Cycles, the journey starts with you, not with the bike.
Instead of picking a model off the shop floor, you’ll first meet with us (either virtually or in-person) for a detailed consultation. Together, we’ll understand your goals, riding style, and preferences.
Only after this process do we recommend the right frame and components — then we custom-build your bike to fit you perfectly.
It’s a more thoughtful, personal approach than simply buying a bike “off the peg” — and it ensures you get a bike that truly fits your body and your riding.

How do I book an appointment?

You can book a consultation or servicing appointment directly through our website, by phone, or by email.
If you’re looking to start the process of buying a new bike, simply head to the booking page and we’ll guide you from there.

What is your cancellation policy?

We understand that life happens.
If you need to cancel or reschedule, we ask for at least 48 hours’ notice.
Cancellations within 48 hours of your appointment may be subject to a fee, as we reserve significant time for each customer to ensure the highest level of service.

How long does it take to get a new bike?

Our lead times are totally dependent on the brands and components you choose.
We’ll keep you updated every step of the way — and we’re always happy to discuss options if you need a bike fast!

How long does servicing take?

All our servicing tasks are booked into our diary, so you’ll know exactly when your bike will be worked on.
If your bike needs specific parts that we need to order, we’ll let you know straight away and give you an updated timeline.

Can I just walk in?

You’re always welcome to stop by, but because we dedicate time and attention to each rider, bike consultations, or servicing need to be booked in advance.

What if I don’t know exactly what I want?

Perfect — that’s exactly why we’re here.
Our process is designed to guide you through your options, balancing Bike Fit, performance, budget, and style.

You don’t need to have all the answers. You just need to bring lots of questions — we’ll help with the rest.

Aren't bespoke builds more expensive than buying "off the shelf?"

It’s easy to assume that a bespoke build must be the more expensive option—but in many cases, it actually saves you money in the long run. Off-the-shelf bikes often come with the wrong size components for your body—like cranks, handlebars, saddles, or stems—which means you’re likely to spend extra replacing parts after the fact, plus paying for the labour to fit them. Our approach gets it right the first time. By building your bike around your fit and needs from day one, you avoid the costly trial-and-error and ride away with a setup that’s truly dialled—saving both time and money.
