The R175 handlebar shape undergoes aerodynamic optimisation while maintaining EXS’s ergonomic optimisation design. Compared to typical round tubing handlebars, the R175 can save 3-4 watts in 45 km/h, while ensuring comfort in holding the top of the bar on a ride.
Compatible With Various Routing Methods:
Built on the foundation of the R180, the R175 uses higher modulus carbon fiber material, allowing it to maintain the same weight as the R180 while having aerodynamic advantages and supporting full internal routing.

Based on feedback from riders using R series handlebars over the years, the R175 has specific improvements in carbon fabric layers stacking for top and drop of the handlebar. Which reduces handlebar stiffness on the top while enhancing stiffness on the drop, seeking a better ratio for balance and optimising the rider experience. If you need the extreme stiffness experience, EXS recommend using the AER[O]VER integrated handlebar.
