How The Tax Benefit Works

The scheme operates on a salary sacrifice basis. You enter a hire agreement where the monthly payments are taken from your gross pay, which reduces your taxable income, saving you money on both Income Tax and National Insurance.

Savings: You save between 28% and 49% on the total package cost, depending on your personal tax rate and provider.
No Upfront Cost: There are zero upfront payments or interest.
Cost Spread: Payments are spread over a hire period, typically 12 or 18 months, making the purchase manageable.

Your Simple 3-Step Process

1. Get a Quote: Visit Crafted Cycles and consult with our experts to spec your dream custom build—frame, components, and accessories. We will provide a formal quote for the total package value.
2. Apply for a Voucher: Apply for your eCertificate/Letter of Collection through your employer's scheme provider (Cycle Solutions, Cyclescheme, Vivup, or Gogeta) for the quoted amount.
3. Redeem and Build: Once your voucher is approved, you provide it to us, and our mechanics begin crafting your bespoke bike! Your salary sacrifice deductions start automatically from your next payroll.

Important Scheme Compliance

The tax exemption requires that the bike and equipment are mainly used (at least 50% of the time) for commuting to and from work, or for work-related journeys.
